Large double room, easy access to Leeds and M1

Hi, my property is in the village of Great Preston in East Leeds which has great commuter links. I'm offering one of my double bedrooms on a Monday to Friday basis because sometimes my extended family come to stay at weekends
I've been doing Airbnb for a while and now feel I want a more long term let. I live here with my dog, Tillie and at weekends my partner Mark is here too and we are all friendly!

I work a lot in the evenings so you might not see me around too much, which is good for sharing the bathroom of course. I also see clients at my home so sometimes there will be others around,

The room has a double bed, a bedside table with drawers and hanging space is in the double wardrobe. It is equipped with a kettle and I don't mind if you wish to add a microwave and/or toaster as long as all dishes come down to the dishwasher daily. The room has a large TV with Freeview and access to internet channels including Netflix (you'd need your own subscription). We have Virgin cable wifi which is very fast so streaming is also possible on your own devlce. The view out of the window is stunning, looking out over the valley towards the large village of Kippax where a wide range of local amenities are found. It's centrally heated and double glazed so very cosy and peaceful.

You are welcome to use the kitchen to cook your meals and you'll have your own cupboard for your food - all I ask is that you put your dishes in the dishwasher and leave everything clean and tidy. There are also lots of takeaways and convenience stores nearby that deliver, and we have some lovely pubs in the area including one at the top of the street, The New Inn.

The bathroom is shared just with myself most of the time, where there is a shower, toilet, sink and bath. Laundry facilities can be made available for an extra £5 per load (washer and dryer available).

Also available for you to use is the front garden seating area which has a table and chairs and a lovely elevated view over countryside. Great for coffee in the morning!

I'd prefer to keep my living areas private though, partly because this is where the dog is when I am out at work but also to give us both some space.

Nearby (5 mins) is J46 of the M1 so easy access to pretty much everywhere, we are also close to Thorpe Park and other major business sites. It is a 7 minute drive to the Park and Ride at Temple Green from where it takes just 15 minutes by bus to get into the city centre and costs just £2.70 per day; also Wakefield, Castleford, Ferrybridge, Pontefract and Selby. There is a railway station at Garforth and at Crossgates, linking into Leeds and also direct to Manchester and York.

I think my place would suit someone who is working in the area Monday to Friday and is happy with their own company most of the time but doesn't mind a chat and sharing the garden terrace.
