Furnished double - Near Leeds station
After living in this flat myself almost 2 years ago - with one room rented out - it has since been fully rented to 2 separate young professionals. The longest standing tenant is sadly moving out mid-September to take on a new position in London. We are now looking for a clean respectable person to take over the room for a minimum of 6 months, ideally starting on the 15th September.
The flat is very spacious and bright and consists of 2 bedrooms, a spacious hallway and a large kitchen/living/dining area. I have taken great care of the communal and private spaces and have furnished it to a higher, more homely standard than most rental properties. The flat is situated opposite Northern Monk Brewery, above a couple of great cafe's and next door to 2 popular gastro-pubs (Cross Keys + Midnight Bell). It is less than a 10 minute walk from Leeds (south entrance) train station, offering easy access to other parts of Yorkshire.
The sitting room is kitted out with a very comfy L shaped sofa (with under storage), 50 inch TV, with BT Freeview and high speed broadband. The room feels very spacious with a huge window, allowing loads of light in. The kitchen has a year old fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and slow cooker as well as a brand new washing-machine/dryer. There is plenty of storage in the shared areas and under bed storage in the available room.
The bedroom on offer is a spacious, naturally light double room. Furniture includes; personal wardrobe, side table, room lamp, double bed (with under bed storage). As there is an en-suite bathroom in the Master bedroom, there is almost exclusive use of the spacious flat bathroom, including heated towel rack, bath/shower, large mirror, a sink and loads of shelf space.
I'm Luca, originally from London, I recently worked in Leeds for the 2 years after completing a degree course in Live Events Production. I lived with my housemate Alex between September 2016-17, who will be leaving the property. Holly, 28, is the most recent tenant at the property and has been there for over 18 months whilst working at the offices in Asda HQ. She enjoys, sports, going to the gym and socialising on the weekends.
The ideal flatmate would be someone sociable, who doesn't feel like they have to be locked away in their room all the time.
