Large Double Ensuite Room in Quiet Area of Ilkley

We are again looking for a mature and easygoing female to rent a nice, spacious ensuite room in my house.

The place is a kilometre from the centre of Ilkley (a couple of mins in a car or about a 20min walk) with its selection of restaurants, the odd shop, supermarket and a train/bus station with good rail links to Leeds, Bradford and beyond. Ilkley is also blessed with a swimming pool, lido and cinema. The famous moors are just a few minutes walk away,

I am a 67 year old retired professional engineer with two young(ish) daughters who have flown the nest, so it is a reasonably peaceful environment. I like travelling and spend several months of the year away

My other lodger, Sarah is a 40 something highly qualified professional, who is currently working from home most days.

I am also hosting Marina, a Ukrainian lady who also works full time and usually from home.

The only definite no-no's regarding potential "tenants" are smoking and pets, we just need someone we can get on with, preferably with a sense of humour!

Bills are included, fibre broadband, as is use of washing machine and dryer. The kitchen currently has a gas Aga (takes some getting used to and is under review due to gas prices) and a large living/dining area with TV (no Sky, but a shared family Netfix account for £5 a month). There is a separate dining room which is used as Sarah’s home office at the moment.

The huge "lounge" is currently a no go area due to it being full of stuff for eBay!

I must also mention that the Hall/Stairs/Landing is a stalled decorating project which will not restart until the lounge is cleared of the eBay crap, hopefully this decade.

Parking is available on street outside the house, no permits required.
