Lovely professional housemate wanted

House located in LS6 Meanwood, Leeds, right between the beautiful Woodhouse Ridge and Meanwood Park, and a 2 minute walk to local shops, bars, health centre etc, 10 minute walk to Headingley and right on the bus route into town. It's an area with a diverse community: families, elderly and students live around the area.

We're looking for housemate(s) in a friendly, comfortable, quiet and affordable house from the 1st of October 2020.

It is a 4-bedroom shared house. The property is owned by a privat landlord with whom we have an unwritten management agreement. Our relationship with the landlord is very good. We can provide more information on this during the interview process.

The room available is east facing, 1) double room with a lovely old fireplace (only showing) on the top floor (there are 3 floors).

The kitchen is big, with an A rated gas cooker and easy wipe surfaces. There’s a cosy living room with chairs and sofa, nice shared bathroom, large basement space and colourful front and back yards. There's opportunity for recycling and composting, and there's some DIY food growing space in the yard. The neighbours are friendly and lovely

House Activities:
There are regular house meetings. We have a monthly general meeting. Where subjects such as: maintenance/cleaning and finance are discussed and sorted through, as well as rotating through tasks such as meeting facilitation and house socials.

Solid practical abilities in DIY such as decorating, joinery, electrics or plumbing

An interest in living a sustainable and low-impact lifestyle
A proactive approach to being in a shared house
