The accommodation occupies the ground and first floor of a duplex apartment, which forms the lower two floors of a beautiful Edwardian house on a quiet leafy street on the outskirts of the historic Saltaire village.
There is use of a large shared kitchen diner which is primarily for your own use with only occasional access required by the landlord (we need access to a cupboard with tools etc). We have our own separate kitchen and lounge.
The letting ensures privacy and quiet for someone who is looking for the benefits of a shared lodging, but with separateness from others. We are a family of four, my partner and I being health professionals, with two children aged 9 and 15. We live in a separate part of the building. You will have your own entrance at the back of the house, which is accessed via stone steps under a balcony, so is unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility.
I successfully let this space out as a holiday home via Airbnb but also let out the space for medium term lets at a lower rate. than if booked through Airbnb..
The apartment is newly decorated in an eclectic style to add character and homeliness. The kitchen benefits from a new fridge freezer and dishwasher and a recently installed boiler, which means you'll be nice and warm!
The accommodation would particularly suit anyone relocating and looking for somewhere in the medium term. It is only available from the end of August for a maximum period of 5 months. Please note, the space is available for a single lodger only.

The property is ten minutes walk from the train line to Leeds /Skipton and is a great option for commuters to Leeds - only 12 min by train yet surrounded by countryside, restaurants, bars and beautiful architecture. And cheaper than the equivalent in Leeds itself.
