London N17

I have lived in Tottenham for over ten years and find it to be relaxed and multicultural with fantastic travel connections including tube, rail and bus. People who live here are loyal to ther neighbourhood an dpassionate about keeping it an intersting place to live. I myself work in the local history museum and often take a stroll in the many open spaces that Haringey provide including the amazing views from Alexandra Palace.

Great for cheap eating out in Turkish Restaurants - quick access to the heart of London - especially the City. Bruace Castle Park is one of the finest parks in London, Lordship Recreation ground not far, as well as easy access to the Lea Valley Park and the Lea Navigation with all its sporty resources. We are also proud to have a 'Banksy' original close to High Cross on the High Road - titles 'No Ball Games'

Economical place to live. Has it's own high street with all the big stores represented - new Primark, new Schuh, H&M, Next, Argos Extra, Morrisons, Sainsbury, Tesco Express, 2 cinema complexes.

This is a wonderful area - a mix of urban and open spaces with cycle paths, country pubs, trout fishing and a retail park! It's a paradox and its truly wonderful!

I love the canal in tottenham, you can see many birds, ducks, Swan and some time even a Heron.

Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale is great for access to West End, City or Stansted Airport. It's lively, has a good selection of shops, is unpretentious and the best kept secret in London.
-
London's undiscovered cheap well connected area.
-
VERY WELL CONNECTED AND 20 MINS TO WESTEND 12 MINS TO LIVERPOOL STREET STN WHERE INVESTMENT BANKS ARE LOCATED
-
Tottenham Hale is a developing area with lots of new accomodation is very well designed buildings next to the station. Easy access to Stratford, Docklands and the City. It's busy for shopping and lovely on the river too. Cornelious restaurant and the Ferry Boat in pub are classy, plus the arc boat. gallery

Young, posh, student-ey, good pubs. Fun.

Tottenham Hale station is very well connected by underground (tube/metro) Victoria Line is 15 minutes to oxford circus and 10 minutes to kings cross a home for Eurostar. By Overground is 10 minutes to Liverpool Street Station where all the investment banks located and to Stansted Airport is 35 minutes by overground.

The flats here are modern new builds and it a very nice and secure place to live with good access to Liverpool Street, Stratford and Victoria Line.
West Green
-
Quiet, more settled, more family-oriented end of N17, lots of owner-occupiers/young prof. families moving in as houses still affordable: best local asset is lovely Downhills Park on the doorstep and Lordship Rec next door which is undergoing massive, lottery funded refurbishment to finish this year.
