Elephant and Castle
-
Friendly, alternative, central.
-
Close to zone 1, Tesco...close to bars and restaurants in tower bridge around 10 minutes to Bank, Blackfriars, and Westminster.
-
Elephant & Castle is set for some major redevelopment over the coming few years and is already seen as an up and coming area for young professionals and people in higher education, boasting a number of top Universities and Colleges. There is plenty to do locally and many great bars and restaurants. You are also very centrally located here, so it's very easy and quick to get into the centre of London.
-
The area is extreme well connected with 24 hour tube and bus service. Additionally, the area is safe, clean and easy to navigate.
Kennington
-
Kennington is an area with great transport links and is surprisingly central (I walk to work in Soho every day) and great for bars, food and many other places of interest - from Borough Market and to the clubs of Brixton and Elephant and Castle, Kennington is the perfect area for a young professional.
-
Kennington is in zone 2 so close to the action but not at the high price of zone 1! It has plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants. Good transport links to bus, tube and train.
