• West Thamesmead has a bad rep, but parts of it are absolutely stunning. Broadwater Green boasts a lake, with ducks, swans and geese and is just a two minute walk from the River Thames. The area is so peaceful, there is hardly any disturbance at any time of the day or night. A true, undiscovered gem in London.
• West Thamesmead mainly consists of good quality private modern buildings, mostly low rise, a mix of houses and contemporary blocks of flats built to a high standard. Being close to the river, residents can enjoy the riverside Thames Path for running, cycling and walking, with inspiring river views. Central Thamesmead has a wide selection of retail shopping with good customer parking space. The area is quiet and peaceful with good travel connections. Journey time from Woolwich Arsenal to Canary Wharf is 19 minutes. Cross Rail makes the journey time from Woolwich Station to Tottenham Court Road 19 minutes direct line into London's West End. Currently, the area is underrated and somewhat undiscovered, all about to change!

Riverside

• I've been living in West Thamesmead for the last few years and totally enjoyed it. The area is changing quickly. It is very nice and quite, but at the same time close to the Royal Woolwich Arsenal and all the restaurants, shops and pubs. Also, it's good for runners - the river is just around the corner. Transport is quite good with good connections to the city (train) and Canary Wharf (DLR).

Thamesmead

• Thamesmead Central is quit and safe area with shopping centre located within Royal Borough of Greenwich. It is well connected to woolwich (Dock Land and Over ground trains) and then to central London.
