An up and coming area sandwiched between Olde Worlde Greenwich and the modern South Docklands Surrey Quays.
Deptford High Street
Well located for transport links to Central London and Docklands. Friendly urban environment with Greenwich next door. Great Saturday market and independent shops.
A multi-cultural market area set in Deptford, historic naval area of London. Benefits from excellent transport links, proximity to Greenwich, Docklands, Goldsmiths and Greenwich University. Unpretentious and real, not wealthy, but also not intimidating.
Greenwich is the best of both worlds. It's got all the restaurants, bars and shops you could want in a city without the congestion and noise of being completely central. And then there's the park which is lovely!
Surrey Quays is small enough to be safe and big enough to have fun, eating out, pubs and movies...
I love living in Surrey Quays!
Lovely place, safe and peaceful, close to west end.
A bit out the the way with poor access to shopping, pubs, restaurants etc (calculate a 20 min walk to get anywhere locally) but very good value for money on the quality and size of property to most other areas.
The above is very old and Surrey Quays has changed
we believe it should be re written......
New overland station giving excellent well connected access to central London and Canary Wharf. The area has a good mix of shopping, pubs, restaurants etc.
This area has great transport links with the New Overland station just opposite the shopping centre and Canada Water on the Jubilee line being just five minutes walk away.
The area has now changed with the new transport hub and shops and the area certainly has an up and coming feel about it.
