Would you like to share the home of a friendly and chatty 88-year-old lady, who loves watching a good TV series/film in the evening? Some of her favourites are Poldark, Downton Abbey, Finding Alice and The Crown. She used to play tennis and enjoyed gardening, but has had to stop due to health issues.
A double bedroom is available in a beautiful house not far from the Cotswold Lakes. The house is located in a quiet village, with a shop, playing fields with tennis and badminton courts. There are monthly film shows in the Village Hall. Plenty of walks around village and along the River Thames. Great area for bird watching. Set in an area of outstanding beauty and within driving distance of the Cotswold Water Park (8 mins-drive), Cirencester (15-mins drive) and Swindon (30-mins drive), this opportunity would suit a mature student or a professional. A car driver is a must due to the location.
A cleaner and a gardener are employed to look after the property.
The ideal Sharer would be happy to cook and eat most meals with the Householder, who struggles with mobility. The Householder would also need support with putting out the bins, watering plants, laundry, carrying laundry and other heavy things up and down the stairs, shopping and potentially driving to the occasional appointment (if available).
The Householder is looking for a Sharer from the middle of July. A contribution towards utility bills and Council Tax will be required.
