Nice Room in Beautiful House in Quiet Location

Excellent room in a warm, secure and comfortable house.

Mid-sized bedroom complete with single bed, large wardrobe, dressing table & drawers and with good bathroom which is a shared jack-and-jill style (one room - two doors) with another lodger who is a young lady. We have an agreement with her that the new tenant would also be female for the sake of propriety. This is NOT negotiable.

All maintenance is carried out without regard to cost. Keeping the house in a good condition is the priority for the owner.

We must stress that the house and gardens are strictly non-smoking areas.

House is in a very quiet street with plenty of off-street parking and a few minutes level walk from the center of town, the bus stops etc and all the local schools. Excellent kitchen that you can use, all bathrooms recently refurbished and nice neighbours around. High speed wireless internet - cabled if you need it - and personal TV with Freeview included. There is a garage where bicycles etc can sleep safely and we can probably find room to store additional possessions if you are between main homes.

You will need to be ok with a fluffy and sweet cat around the place.

Room is not suitable for night-shift workers as there is a home-office located upstairs that is busy during weekdays and the owner works shifts too and will often be vacuuming and cleaning during weekdays.

Room is currently empty so we might be able to take somebody before the date shown but it would be at owner's discretion.

English is the main language and, for everybody's safety, we will need you to be moderately fluent in that but we can also speak French, Filipino and some Arabic.

Also we will be asking for references from a current or former employer prior to moving in. Please ensure that will be ok with your company.

We also reserve the right to ask for somebody acceptable to act as guarantor for you should we feel it might be wise.
