Entire top floor of a family(2 adults and 2 children, with a kitten and a rabbit) home, very private, lovely quiet central village location with countryside views. The room is furnished with two single beds inc television, dining area with tea and coffee making facilities, and toaster. A microwave could easily be added. The room also has a small fridge freezer. It has 2 comfortable armchairs and a TV. We are happy however to alter the layout of the room to suit the tenants needs. In the main part of the house there are 2 shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen, a lounge and conservatory and a small garden. There is parking at the front of the house.
Winterslow is a 15 min drive from Salisbury, the village is on a main bus route, the bus stop is a 1 minute walk from the house, mainline train station is about 10 minute drive away, with all day parking available for £2 pounds. Winterslow is ideally located to be within easy reach of Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, The New Forest, Romsey and Southampton,. The well stocked village shop and post office is next door. The village also has a country pub, offering a takeaway service which is a 1 minute walk from the house. There is a doctors surgery, village hall/community centre a 10. minute walk away, parks and lots of beautiful walks to explore.
The location is very quiet and beautiful, and the village is very friendly and a real community.
We both work, Glen is currently working mainly from home but normally would be in Southampton for the NHS. Lucy works from home. We have 2 small children so we can't promise an always quiet house but we can promise a very warm and welcoming one. We also have a kitten and a rabbit. We home educate our children so we're out and about a lot and also have our allotment in the village which you'd be welcome to have your own section of if that is your kind of thing.
