It's not a house it's a home!

I’m Alister (he/him), an Australian who moved to London from Berlin at the beginning of the pandemic to start a new role as a designer at Aesop.

I love cooking (vegetarian) and baking and lowkey dream of getting a Paul Hollywood handshake. I really enjoy cycling out of the city to escape the hustle from time to time. And aside from that I love modernist architecture and design and binge-rewatching Rupaul’s Drag Race.

I’ve always lived in houses where housemates enjoy each other’s company. I’m easy to get along with as a housemate (and generally!), ensuring shared spaces are respected and kept nice and orderly.

Ideally I’d like to be in a house where housemates regularly share meals, have a glass of wine together or sit down to watch something together.

I’m looking for a room that is big enough to comfortably fit a double bed and a desk as I’ll most likely be working from home around half the time. I’d also like to be in a house with a shared living room and, ideally, a garden or balcony.
