Room needed by single professional male for August

I am a 28 year old male and am looking for a relatively spacious double room / a room with a desk space as I have my own desktop computer and some of my own furniture.

I am very easy going, tidy, and friendly. I enjoy watching film and TV, reading, hill walking, bouldering, board games, the odd social drink, and supporting Newcastle United (for my sins!).

My work is in the centre of York and is full time, but on a weekly shift pattern basis, so my working hours can vary between 8am starts and 7pm finishes over the month.

Ideally I would be looking to be in an area of central / eastern York so I can walk or cycle to and from work and the centre of town. I have my own car, but only use it for large shopping trips or excursions out to the Dales / Moors, so parking is a must.
