Queer friendly, spacious and cosy 3 bed home

My friend Zoe KI and I are looking for a fabulous third person to come live with us in our spacious 3 bed house in Easton.

We’re looking for someone warm and fun to make this house a friendly home.
Any new housemate must:
be 25-33 years old
be female, non-binary and/or queer/femme
be working (or a more settled student willing to split council tax)
creative or passionate about something
have a sense of humour
contribute to a cosy clean & tidy environment (occasional mess is fine but don’t let things get nasty) and last but not least be fabulous.

A little bit about us:
Zoe works for a youth charity and I work as a circus performer with bar work on the side.
We are friends and met through voguing (queer ballroom scene- look it up!). I am a vegan and Zoe is respectful of dietary choices. We’re both highly creative queer people who love to dance and socialise. We do enjoy going out but aren’t going to be staying up all weekend making noise!
We like to have friends visit mostly during the weekends- especially when they bring wine. On weeknights and actually on weekends too we often like to get cosy and eat dinner together while binging TV series in the living room. We don’t mind if you keep yourself to yourself when you need, but we’d prefer someone who wants to chill with us at home sometimes. We are respectful of all identities and cultures and abilities. Nobody is perfect but it’s important to us that you have a good understanding of boundaries and how to practice self care.

The room on offer is a large double room shown below in the photos. The room comes unfurnished but there may be an opportunity to buy some of the funiture off the current tenant.
There’s a garden that needs some love (we’re trying!), a living room, bathroom with bath and separate shower, kitchen and a spare room. Pics of the room were taken quite late it actually gets nice light.

We also have a spare small room that we aim to set up for creative projects, with a sewing machine and desk- we are learning to make costumes. The landlord is pretty chill about putting up shelves and painting as long as it goes back to how it was at end of tenancy. Outside of the room, there’s a couple of well sized storage cupboards.

The rent will be £400pcm plus around £100pcm so £500 all in. Upfront we’ll need 1st months rent and bills plus a months rent deposit so £900. We are looking for someone to fill the room asap, subletting until the start of next months rent day, the 4th October but if you want to move in on October 4th that’s fine too. It will be a 6 months tenancy then rolling contract from there. Hopefully you’d like to stay long term and make a house a home.

The house is on Greenbank road right near The Greenbank pub. Transport links are great- bus stop to town and Stapleton road train station 5 mins away. Free parking is available on the road. There’s a bike storage in the garden and it takes 15 mins to cycle to town without using many roads. There are also plenty of shops nearby including the amazing sweetmart. There is a studio down the road that we say we should go and train in more often than we currently do! St George park is also a short walk away and the cemetery at the end of the road is actually really nice.
