Bright fully furnished double room bills included

Furnished double room in a lovely house with lots of great features within easy commuting distance to the science park and Addenbrookes Hospital. It's walking distance to town or you can take the bus from just outside. The room itself is front facing, with a big window and lots of storage space. Although it comes furnished we can adjust some of the furniture if needed. Our current housemate says the bed is very comfy. We also cover the cost of a cleaner once a week, if you want her to do your room then no problem!

The house is 3 bedrooms with one of them currently being used as a study. Upstairs we have a shared bathroom with a big bath/shower.

Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen with dining area. We have a dishwasher, big multi-function oven and you will also have your own fridge as we have two. It's well equipped cooking-wise with everything you would need. The living room is spacious with a big corner sofa and recliner chair. We like spending evenings in there watching a series or a film.

There is a lean-to just outside the kitchen with space to keep bikes covered and secure. We also keep gardening equipment there and there is a second toilet.

The garden is where it gets exciting. It's a lot bigger than you'd expect, with a patio/BBQ area, hot tub and in the summer months a hammock. The owner of the house is a carpenter so he decided to build himself an outdoor bar, which we often make use of. There is plenty of space to grow plants and vegetables if you're green fingered! Out the front of the of the house we have space for parking several cars off road, with even more space out back if needed.

We are a young recently married couple who know Cambridge really well. We are pretty outgoing and have a good network of friends in the city. She is studying for a PhD in Criminology full time, he works a 9-5 in sales at a software firm. We like to travel when we can. He's also really into cooking, you're welcome to get involved with the weekly meal plan or just stick to your own! We've recently got a bit more into our fitness so if you're looking for gym motivation then we can probably help. The house is owned by his old school friend who's moved to Canada leaving us permission to sub-let. We are not sure for how long exactly but it will be at least another year. Our current housemate and friend has decided to move to Spain in October so the room will be vacant shortly after she's left.

We'd like to live with someone relaxed and fun, no strong preference on professionals or students. Our current housemate works shifts so if your schedule is an awkward one we will be very understanding. If you like a glass of wine in the garden, or a pint at the pub, we'll probably get along fine.
