Double Room Free Rent (Please Read Carefully)

Hello everyone!

Here we have a very unique situation. First let me start by saying this is not a FREE RIDE. You WILL need to actually do some work. But, honestly, it’s not that much. Whom I’m looking for is someone that LOVES animals. When I say ‘loves’ I mean finds joy and happiness in taking care of them. Whether feeding them, walking them, cleaning up after them, or giving them cuddles, you’re happy to do it because you understand how very special they are. I work long hours, and I need someone to help me look after my dogs and some other simple bits around the house. There is Caulfield, a 4 year old French Bulldog, and Holden, an 11 week old French Bulldog. That said, here are the specifics:

In exchange for FREE RENT/utilities (does not include food) your responsibilities are:

1. Feeding the dogs at the same time every day.

2. Cleaning up after them (especially the baby, he’ll be learning to be house trained).

3. Letting them out to the toilet at least once every 4 hours.

4. Giving them cuddles/treats.

5. Playing with them with their toys.

6. Mowing the lawn once a week (it literally takes 30 minutes).

7. Keeping the house clean-ish. I’m not looking for a maid or spotless, just tidy.

PLEASE NOTE:
I’m ONLY looking for some help with the dogs and around the house. This will only be ideal if you maybe work part time, or in Tunbridge Wells, as the dogs will need to be let out every 4 hours. Once I get home from work in the evenings, you’re free to do whatever. On weekends, they’re also my responsibility, so you’re again free to do whatever. There may be a day here and there where I might ask for you to watch them on a weekend day, but not often.

This is NOT an invitation for someone to come in, lay around all day, and party in my house. As a matter of fact, I’d rather you didn’t have anyone over unless it’s been discussed with me. While the RENT is FREE, there WILL BE A DEPOSIT so that if you break something, or mess up your room or the house, I have something to sort it with.
I will ask for references, so be prepared.

Whomever ends up in the room, will have to be the perfect fit. And, I am fully aware and expect that that will take some time.

My first priorty is the safety and well-being of Caulfield and the new puppy. Which is why this will be a bit of an extended vetting process. I have to be 100% certain that whomever moves in will treat them kindly. They deserves that. I will not tolerate ANY ill treatment of them.

My second and equally important priorty is the well-being of the property. It MUST be treated kindly and respectfully. It's a beautiful house, and I intend to keep it that way.

If you smoke, it will always have to be OUTSIDE.

No off street parking
Washing machine

**Lease will be on a rolling month to month basis to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the situation.

The spare room can be furnished (bed/mattress) or not. That would be up for discussion. Regardless, I wouldn't supply bed linens or pillows.

You can expect to have access to the main living areas of the house as well as the garden. Unfortunately, there will be no room for additional furniture or storage thereof.
