Hey, I'm Ashleigh. I'm looking for a lodger to live with me and my pets. Ideally someone long term if we get on well but open to someone looking for short term. I'm a student veterinary nurse, working full time. I'm out of the house for the majority of the day and I work occasional weekends. I'm very active and love to be out in nature on my days off. I am sociable but I like my own space most of the time. I'm not a party animal. I'd much rather stay in with good food and films. So I would like to live with someone who is similar in that way. I'm happy for you to have guests stay over, as long as I'm notified in advance first.
I'm offering a large double bedroom with a built in wardrobe. Comes with bed frame and mattress, bed side units and chest of draws (optional) Shared bathroom with shower, living room and kitchen. Equipped with all the appliances that you'll need. (Electric oven/hob, washing machine, kettle, microwave, toaster) You will have your own fridge and cupboard/shelf space. I also have a large chest freezer with plenty of space for both of us. Access to large back garden. Located in quiet area of Cwmbran, very close to all local amenities', very close to the M4. Plenty of space to park your car if you drive.
Move in from April
£600 pcm including bills and council tax.
£400 deposit to pay which you will get back when you move out (providing no damage is caused)
I would also be willing to accommodate someone who is looking to rent Monday - Friday at a reduced monthly cost.
I will require references from previous landlords.
You will be required to sign a lodger agreement, however you will not be tied into a contract.
Housemate requirements:
Must like animals, as you'll be living with a dog and cat. Someone who will be happy to occasionally offer them food/water and let them outside when I'm not home. (I will never expect you to walk the dog)
Someone who is clean and tidy and will help with general cleaning jobs around the house.
I don't eat meat so I would ideally like to live with a vegetarian, but this is not essential. (No discrimination from me if you do eat meat) As long as you're respectful when using the kitchen.
Someone who cares about the environment and is willing to recycle the best that they can. I recycle plastics, glass, paper, cardboard, soft plastics, food waste. I also have a compost bin in the garden
If you have any questions or are interested then please drop me a message :)
