Single Room Available In Ynysddu

Single room available in house with live in landlady located in the lovely village of Ynysddu, a mere 20 minute drive from Newport and the M4 and a 5 minute drive from Blackwood.

The room is well furnished with bedding and towels provided if requested.

It is not a large room but is equipped with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and bookcase.

The house is a recent renovation and equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. High speed Internet with Netflix and Amazon Prime in living room also provided.

To the rear, there is a sunny garden and a forest with beautiful walks literally on the doorstep. To the front there is plenty of on street parking (we live on a very quiet dead-end road so it is never hard to find a space.)

I should note though, that the most important resident of the property is my three year old cat who rules the roost and assumes that everyone loves her. (Which, of course, we all do!)

So to describe myself, well, I'm a fairly cheerful soul who enjoys having lodgers.

I'm pretty easy to get on with but I do like things clean and organised so I am looking for someone who is like-minded and will be prepared to happily muck in with the chores, throw washing in the drier occasionally and join me for a cup of tea on the terrace sometimes.

I would also need a lodger that can be quiet in the morning as both myself and my other lodger often work nights and sleep until midday and beyond. This means that I come in at about 3am and Neil comes in at 6am but don't worry, we are both very quiet. (Promise!)

I should mention here that  it would be difficult for me to accept those on benefits as Caerphilly Borough Council do not fully cover the cost of this room. However, if you are about to begin employment, I would reconsider.

I would also take smokers as long as they understand that whilst I will accept vaping inside the house near an open window, smoking indoors is very much NOT allowed! (Sorry!) 😁
