Peaceful Room to Rent

Hi there.... I have a lovely room to rent in a quiet area of Kilbarchan and I think my home is comfortable, welcoming and relaxed. I am happy to take short term lets or longer term. I think it's ideal for a professional or student, perhaps someone who is only in Glasgow temporarily and would like to fly/travel back home at weekends. I'm more than happy to drop off and pick up at airport!

The room will be available from just after Xmas as my current lodger only stayed with me during the week for work. He has now been told he can work from home. and his wife and kids are in Aberdeen.

I do have gorgeous Labrador and a cat (who seems to be in the house less and less at the moment) so you must like animals and not be allergic.

There is a lovely enclosed patio area to sit and have breakfast, lunch or dinner when the weather allows (late mornings are just the best, even at this time of year!) I am in the process of landscaping the rest of the garden so when I'm at home I can often be found outside. I do work from home sometimes, but I also take my dog out training quite a lot so you would have plenty of time in the house yourself.... unless you fancied joining us for a walk that is :-)

For those who are musically inclined or who would like to be, I have a Clavinova that is in need of some playing and you are most welcome to use it any time. I don't watch a lot of TV so if you like to keep up with things then I reckon you could have a free rein.

I'm a pretty relaxed person to live with (which means I'm not super tidy and not super messy). All other arrangements can be agreed at the time. Rent and entry date is flexible depending on the situation. I'm pretty open minded.

Location plus points: 5 mins walk to Milliken Park train station and then 10 mins on train to Paisley or 17 mins to Glasgow Central. 5 mins drive to Glasgow Airport. Frequent bus links to Glasgow and surrounds.
