A large fully furnished double bedroom is available in a very spacious and airy flat! This flat is in city centre of Galashiels and is close to all amenities, bus and train transport links.
This room is a large newly renovated double bedroom with a generous separate bathroom (equipped with both original claw bath and modern shower). The rent for this room is £450 and the room deposit is £750. Short lets considered - rent + deposit will be calculated pro rata
The rent covers all bills (WiFi, council tax, gas/electricity) which are all fixed amounts that are in my name, so you will never need to pay more as these don't fluctuate.
The flat is a 3 bedroom top floor flat and comprises of spacious and light shared common living areas; the kitchen/dining room and living/TV room.
The flat is modern (and newly decorated), homey and clean. I'm looking for someone who is a professional that likes to have a chat over a cup of tea but respects everyones personal space.
A little about me - I've owned this flat for 6 years and have moved back in 1yr ago as I started working in Peebles (so I commute back and forth Mon-Fri). I've recently (just over 3 months ago) adopted a wee rescue dog, Jeff, who is absolutely amazing and nothing like most rescue dogs (as I've had no issues or behavioural problems with him, which never happens!).
The 3rd bedroom is taken by my older sister who is moving back to Scotland from Singapore to work and be closer to the family.
My sister, Emma, smokes but never in the flat as I'm allergic. I would ask the same of whoever is looking to move in.
The room deposit is due on or before you move in. This is then transferred to SafeDepositsScotland to be kept safely, I will give you confirmation certificates of this.
