Double bedroom (we are happy to provide a double bed if needed)

We are looking for a tenant to rent our spare double bedroom in our newly extended and decorated Victorian house overlooking Mitcham Common. Two of the three double bedrooms in the house are already rented to two wonderful professionals and we are looking for a like-minded tenant. We are ideally looking for a house proud professional, aged 30+ who wants somewhere quiet, clean, comfortable and homely to live. This is definitely not a ‘party house’, it is our family home. Although we are moving elsewhere for the next few years, we plan on returning and would like to find people that will love and care for our home in our absence.

The bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes with plenty of storage space. We are letting this room for £550 pcm not including bills. Council Tax is £41 per month and will be added to rent. All other bills are organised within the house.

The communal spaces include a perfect sized garden, extended kitchen/dining room and separate living room.

The house is by a bus stop (118 which goes to Morden, Streatham stations and Brixton). We are ten minutes walk from Mitcham Eastfields train station and 15 minutes from Mitcham Junction station with trams to Croydon and Wimbledon.

The room will be available from 20.06.2021. We are happy to rent the bedroom furnished or unfurnished. The photos show the house as it was furnished with our belongings. We have removed and replaced some items to create space.

We would require a £500 deposit, employment references, current landlord references and two months notice if you plan on moving on after the initial six month period.

We love living here. We overlook the common and regularly take walks. Our neighbours are also the most wonderful, welcoming people we've ever experienced living in London.
