Single room to rent in comfortable, upstairs flat, on a quiet street in the middle of Heaton (just off Chillingham Road).

Layout much better than the usual Heaton flats, is well furnished, and is east facing so gets plenty of light throughout the day.

(About to get new windows and doors installed, and a new living room carpet, so should be extra warm come winter.)

Available bedroom is a single, with plenty of storage (large wardrobe in bedroom, drawers under the bed, shelf space in living room). Bed can be a single or a double as required. As you can see from the photos, it can be made very cosy.

(I specified no couples in ad, because the size of the room would make it rather cramped, however all previous tenants have had partners who often stayed over, and they managed fine.)

There's a large and comfortable shared living room - well furnished kitchen with space for a table - bathroom has both bath and a good shower - front porch has room for a bike if required - kitchen has a cool metal balcony outside, with steps down to a decent sized yard.

(The damaged wall in yard has been completely replaced, forgot to get an updated photo of that. New plants etc. coming next year.)

Flat is very close to bus stops and Chillingham Road metro (transport links are great) - local shops, pubs, cafes, takeaways and restaurants all 5 to 10 minutes walk - big ASDA 15 minutes - Ouseburn 25 minutes - centre of Newcastle 40 minutes.
