Large room with king size bed in Farsley village

Room to let in spacious and quiet family home. ( now available from April 1st 2023) In fab village just outside leeds with great links and facilities.
There's only myself and my 17year old son who is hardly in!. Oh and a very old cat who is also hardly in as she's most likely wandering round all the other houses getting fed ( that's cats for you !) 🤣

House has Woodburner/ wifi /, outdoor studio for use, veg plot, / utility area / large garden space. The house has a new downstairs shower room for guest use. ( I have another room which is occasionally let on a mid week basis) buts more or less just for the person who takes this room.

Farsley has lovely shops / restaurants / an art gallery and quirky cafes and facilities like gym and nearby canal for walks and was recently listed in The Times as one of the top ten places to live! We have Amity Brewery and The Old Woollen for music and live entertainment. Also Mill kitchen/saint Judes for fresh baked sourdough and really good coffee. There is Sunnybank Mills for art/gifts and cafe too.
Bus routes to Leeds and Bradford and train station 10 mins walk which serves york / Leeds / Manchester/ hebden bridge .
The house is mainly downstairs open plan and the tenant will have space for their own food, including separate fridge ( in the room ) with your own personal kettle, to add to privacy and leave. There is enough space to hide away or be part of the ( quiet) action .
The room is spacious with a king size bed and silent night geltex mattress ( very comfy) . It had a huge set of drawers - bamboo rail and desk space with lamps. There's a shelving unit and comfy chair.
I've put an electric blanket in and hot water bottle for cosy nights in. You have access to washing machine but will need to provide your own wash powder. A drying rail is provided or a outdoor washing line.

I am preferential to Monday to Friday as per our last guest but will consider full time stay for the right person. Also happy to consider short term lets. Mature students and professionals but will consider anyone. It's more important to have someone like minded ( into food / walks , being healthy , kind etc and defo not untidy - especially in shared spaces , I care less about your room as won't be going in there 🤪)
Bathroom is downstairs too, so your room and bathroom on same floor. And you only share that with the tenant in back room maybe 1/2 nights a week. ( open to let for mid week too ) .
