Room In Vintage Home Woodhouse

I have a double room available in my quirky vintage home in Woodhouse, the room is fully furnished and has a decent amount of storage.

My house is a home and I would like the person that moves in to treat it as such. Its a quiet social house, where we like to catch up but not live in each other pockets.

Currently we are both working from home for at least part of the week and of course you are welcome to do so as well, I will be in service almost full time from June.

I have a small rescue Jack Russell called Betty who is a crazy cutie and sometimes just crazy.

Smokers welcome but the house is smoke free, I do however have a small yard with a fire pit and bbq where you are welcome to smoke and enjoy the sun (fingers crossed)

This is an easy going and creative household, I am often out and about doing things at the weekend, lockdown permitting. I currently work in the third sector and I am involved in education and for fun I am involved with community led arts festivals all over Europe, though not this year and the other housemate is the ever delightful Elaine who is also in education and environmental science. We are both pretty chilled and enjoy quiet week nights and are often out at the weekends, but enjoy a glass of wine together.

There is unrestricted on street parking right outside thee property, netflix on the big telly in the living room and decent broadband.

All bills are included.


The house is Covid free and we ask that if you would like to view the room and have symptoms please be honest and wait until they have cleared/ isolation period is over.

Woodhouse is a great area, 30 minute walk (if you are takinng it easy) or a 7 minute bus to town, 20 minute walk to Headingley, two blocks from Meanwood Ridge. There are 4 convince stores / off licenses within a few minutes walk as well as restaurants and pubs in the local, you are also 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park Corner and all it has to offer.
