Reviews
Harlesden
-
Multicultural with town centred around the clock, great park. close to west end. Thriving with Brazilian/Portuguese flavour.
-
Has it's quiet moments; however not too quiet. Still very much an alive area.
-
Fantastic up and coming area, has now become the big melting pot that the rest of London is. People are moving here from Notting hill, Queens park and Kensal rise. The demographics are changing and Harlesden is now a fashionable area ideal for young professionals and families. Highly recommend this area to anyone.
-
Harlesden is lively and well connected. Pretty central, Willesden junction is zone 2. With 24/7 shops and buses, Lovely roundwood park and well equipped leisure centre, You definitely getting the best out of north west London !
Kensal Green
-
Kensal Green is full of restaurants, is more relaxed than the West End but very near , only 20 mins on the tube to Oxford Circus, we have Willesden Sports Centre, beautiful Roundwood Park, not far from Wembley for the occasional Rock Concert.
-
Safe, residential area with local shops and close to supermarkets, bus routes, Bakerloo Line and London Overground as well as in short walking distance to several Pubs (e.g. Paradise), coffee places, parks etc.
-
A great neighbourhood! In easy reach of central London yet a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Great transport connections. Everything is within reach - shops, post office, delis, pubs, eating places, and - to top it off - a new local cinema, the Lexi!!
-
Kensal green is my favourite part of London. Quiet yet hip, close to Portobello and Notting Hill, full of cool bars and restaurants and so very well connected!
Kensal Rise
-
Buzzy area with calm leafy streets and a chic parade, manages to be central yet villagey.
-
A cool place to live, the local park has a zoo and a golf course. There is a cinema 2 mins away in a church, Paradise bar is on a 5 min bus ride. Great place to live
-
An up and coming sociable place with cafes and bistros ready for the romantic and sociable.
-
Down to earth, easy going place. Good for families, couples and young professionals who like to reach the centre and the West End easily but want to come home to a peaceful place.
-
Kensal Rise highstreet has plenty of gastro pubs and coffee shops. Nice vibe!
London NW10
-
Easy access buses & trains close to shops & park.
-
NW10 spans a large area from the up and coming Latin Quarter (Brazillian) Harrow rd to Leafy and picturesque Dollis Hill with semidetached family oriented homes a stones throw from the 70 acre hilly park with tennis courts, yoga, art gallery and lake. Quiet with easy access by tube and bus to central London and beyond.
-
Previous Guinness estate, 12th century church, near Grand Union Canal
-
NW10 is a lovely, vibrant, cosmopolitan part of the city. Most of the houses around the NW10 area are large Victorian properties and this adds an air of sophistication to the area. Towards Kensal Rise you have an eclectic bohemian mix of people and towards Harlesden you have a friendly multi-cultural mix of people. There are large parks in and around NW10 from where you can chill, meet friends for a coffee or do some jogging. If you live near Willesden Junction it has fantastic links to all parts of the city - North, South, East, West, as it has great Overground connections. The BBC is also nearby and you may spot a presenter or two, commuting to and from work.
-
Great area and up and coming.
-
Roundwood Park, a simple, well managed park, loved by the community.
Park Royal
-
My favorite: Gran Union canal for running or cycling up to Camden Town and daffodils at Easter.

-
Parks, a splendid sport centre, one of the best libraries, artist's club and shows, good inexpensive restaurants and cafes, schools and one academy. It is good to live in Willesden!
-
Willesden Green, is central (zone2) yet inexpensive. It is cosmopolitan and generally safe. It has a tube station and a big bus garage. Its not far from Hampstead and Portobello Road.
-
A safe and friendly area - great connections to London, good cafes and independent deli's popping up all the time in Willesden Green and Kensal Rise. Good range of parks and sports facilities.
-
A nice quiet street close to everything that you need. Fitness, Parks, Shopping, Bars, Markets, Malls, Transport. So if its not close by the local transport will get you there.
