Safe, friendly good for shopping, quiet !!
-
A good place to stay in London, able to take you away from busy hectic life however not rural.
-
Hendon is prime to all those seeking a lively student environment. Middlesex University with its large, traditional (but modern) imposing campus, creates a perfect setting for all the students of not only the coming generation but also for those amongst us whom wish to preserve an attachment to their youth culture. With Brent Cross just a stones throw away, a full variety of the best shopping and goods are readily available all day till late. Leisure (beauty health and fitness), bars and cinemas are all within close proximity and fairly priced. This area is on its way up!

Student friendly with local amenities.

A well connected area to live. Central London in 30 mins by tube and St Albans is just 20 mins by overground
-
It's actually in Z3!! A good area to live and well connected for tube, train, bus and car! there are some bars, lots of cheap places to eat and more expensive restaurants! Quite an OK area!
-
Leafy, with great connections to the West End (20 mins on tube) and good connections to main A roads and Motorways so easy access to Hertfordshire, Luton Airport, M1 etc.
Some good cafes selling real, genuine bagels (some of the best outside of New York and Brick Lane in the East End of London) and the famed upmarket Brent Cross Shopping Centre close by. Short tube ride to Hampstead and the beautiful heath and 15 mins to Camden Town with it's bohemian vibe and interesting eclectic shopping.

Can't quite decide what it wants to be. Excellent transport links, safe area, multicultural, but a little lacking in the human touch, though being bisected by a major arterial link does not help! Quiet surrounding roads, everyone seems busy!
-
Nice clean area in North London. With easy commute to central London in 25min
-
Hendon is in zone 4 and it is considered a safe area.
-
Hendon Central tube station is a 10 minute walk from Brent Cross Shopping Centre and Brent Cross Bus Terminus. Only 20 mins on tube to central London. Lots of young multicultural people.
-
20 Mins to Central London but just as cosmopolitan with a range of bars restaurants and shops.

Quiet suburb, with several large parks. Some quite good shops, eg 4 small bakers, open 6 days a week.
