Beckenham

London's best kept secret. Only 20 minutes by fast rail link to Victoria, Beckenham has it all: independent shops, a great leisure centre, 6 screen cinema, loads of pubs and rated restaurants and wonderful green spaces for those Sunday morning walks. There's a farmers market and even a tramlink. In fact, don't come here, I found it and it's all mine!

Beckenham is a very safe area in the south eastern part of London, with trains going into Charing cross and London bridge only 30minutes away....it has London on its doorstep and is a very civilised place to live...nice open spaces without the overcrowding of central London...

Beckenham has a great Spa, leisure centre, cinema and lots of fine pubs and restaurants. The High St has Waitrose, Marks and Spencer and Sainsurys, designer clothes shops and coffee houses. There are a number of parks; it is fantastic commuter belt green yet only 20mins to the city. Night buses too and extremely well connected to London, Croydon and Gatwick is 45mins. Also adjacent other lively conurbations.

Pleasant, established suburbia with good transport links to London, Bromley & Croydon.
