Operations Assistant - Full Time - £16,500 p/a

We have a brand new opportunity for a talented assistant to join our Operations Team. This is a full time position between the hours of 9.00am to 5.30pm. Initially you'll be based in our Macclesfield office (just a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations) before relocating to our new offices in Manchester city centre later this year!

Job Description

You'll play a key role in supporting the business goals of the Operations Team through a variety of tasks with the opportunity to create new, and develop existing, admin systems. You'll work with managers and employees from across the business in HR, Finance, Product Development and Communications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administration of payroll data
  • Update and maintain HR records
  • Recruitment administration
  • Create, implement and maintain an appraisal diary system
  • Handle post and other deliveries
  • Monitor stock and inventory levels
  • Gather information for internal newsletter

Accounts Assistant - Full Time - £18,000 - £21,000 p/a dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a full-time member of staff to join our Operations team as an Accounts Assistant. Initially the role will be located in our Macclesfield office (just a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations) but will be relocating to Manchester City Centre later on this year when we move into our brand new offices!

Job Description

The role of the Accounts Assistant is to provide support to the Accounts Manager by maintaining accurate files and entering data in a timely fashion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data entry
  • Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
  • Entering Sales and Purchase Invoices in Sage
  • Processing Petty Cash
  • Processing Staff Expenses
  • Assist with VAT returns, P11d Submission, EC Sales List
  • Assist in preparation of month end reports
  • Journals
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

We are recruiting for a full time position working between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm.

Experience

Bookkeeper - Full Time - £25,000 p/a

We are currently recruiting for a full-time member of staff to join our Operations team as a Bookkeeper. Initially the role will be located in our Macclesfield office (just a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations) but will be relocating to Manchester City Centre later on this year when we move into our brand new offices!

The Role

You will support the Accounts Manager by providing all Bookkeeping duties as necessary. You will have a proven track record in a similar position, a relevant qualification and experience of working in an e-commerce environment would be beneficial. We have recently expanded our operations to the US market so any knowledge of US accounts and taxation would be useful. This is a busy role and you will need the ability to hit the ground running.

Requirements
  • Proven track record as a Bookkeeper with 3 years experience
  • Fully competent in Sage 50 Accounts Professional, Sage P11d, Excel
  • Highly IT literate
  • Experience of working in an ecommerce environment
  • Knowledge of intangible assets/purchases/products
  • VAT submissions, EC sales list
  • working with multiple currencies, bank accounts, departments and entities
  • Ability to meet strict HMRC deadlines
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and P&L
  • History of budgeting and tracking departmental spend
  • All other day to day accounts duties to maintain accurate files and enter data in a timely fashion
