Room needed for a year starting april

Hi there,
I'm looking for accommodation starting in april (end) can move in earlier such as end of march and looking to stay for year or beyond.
I have just recently finished my PhD and have a research job for a year which could potentially be extended.
I'm quite an easy going person and the job does not require to come home at ridiculous times in the night. I love watching films and playing games but also enjoy the outdoors! I cycle to work on my bike so would need a secure place for it or somewhere I can lock it up :)
