Hello Hello! ☀️

My name is Alex, I'm 32 and I have recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary living in Glasgow!

Having moved up from sunny Suffolk, I am now looking for a new home in the city as my wonderful flatmate/landlord is moving in with her partner.

I am currently employed as a Production Coordinator apprentice for radio and audio, working predominantly in drama, classical music and speech. My work is full time 9-5, but can have some occasional extended hours. I originally trained as an actor, and am making a career change to chase my other dreams as well as build new ones! I am resourceful, hard-working and dedicated - so whilst the creative career may be a red flag, be assured I have never missed a months rent or skipped on bills.

I am friendly, sociable and can be a tad house proud - if there is something I can make cosy, my goodness will I! Like most people, I enjoy a balance of together and alone time; I really appreciate the smaller moments of working/chores/doing-our-thing alongside each other in quiet companionship.

I really love sharing time, conversation and food. My cooking skills are... still a work in progress (I'm a much better baker) but I am extremely easily convinced to a takeaway or dining out.

My music taste is awful but I can make up for it with sweet goods (bought or baked, I generally have something sugary on my person.) You would mostly find me pottering about to an audiobook or pop-culture youtube essay. I love to read, play boardgames, journal, craft and go to dance/gym classes. My favourite past time is a cup of tea and some trashy tv.

I have had an amazing year in Glasgow and am looking forward to planting more roots, exploring further hidden gems and adding new friends to the small but mighty community the city has gifted me.

I hope I can be a happy addition to any house with a love for slow mornings and cosy chats.
