26 Professional Female, Flat Mate Wanted

I'm a quiet person, but friendly and I warm up to people after getting to know them. I used to be a professional cleaner, but have started a new job with a better salary (£17.5k). I am working from home and so would require space as a matter of importance.

A bit more about me: I've been taking up my German lessons again and some art classes in the evening since lockdown which I have really enjoyed. I also sing in a gregorian chant choir at the weekends and some other special days. I can play guitar and piano mainly. If we got a good place I'd like to get a digital piano again so I can practise (with headphones in! 😁)

I'm looking for someone to share a two bedroom flat or house with. It would need to be unfurnished as I already have furniture. I think the best place to look is directly with estate agents and rightmove etc as on here there are a lot of bad deals or scams. I mainly just want to find someone nice to live with so we can afford a better place together.

If you're a respectful and understanding person I think we will get on fine. Once I'm out of my shell and feel comfortable I'll be quite lively and energetic again.

If we paid £450 each we would easily find a lovely place in York.

I'm looking for somewhere to rent a flat/house on a long-term basis, at least 6 months, but ideally one year.
