28 y/o professional looking for a room in Watford.

Simi here - (after becoming absolutely and shamefully great at linkedin this seems tragic so sorry if it screams that) your new chronically online but IRL bestie / tidy and respectful (but rightly fun and dysfunctional) future housemate (I hope).

I'm looking for a fresh start and a new home to grow some roots in. I've lived in Bushey for 5 years post university with a lovely live in landlord and would love to find a place that feels a little more like home / or atleast my own space.

I am a working professional but explaining what I do is a little more complicated. Here is a non-exhaustive list:

✦ Design & Digital Content Manager @mainspring_arts helping neurodivergent adult creatives (like myself) better access to the arts and opportunities within the sector

✦ Part Time Community Outreach for Hello Vet Bushey (catch me outside how bout that) meeting dog and cat owners in the community

✦ Volunteer Peer Support Worker for those who have complex needs

✦ Ad Hoc Dog walker / Pet sitter (in other peoples homes) on Rover so I could be away nights / days occassionally

✦ Freelance Art Director (ad grad) and ex press and editorial photographer but I do still ocassionally shoot gigs (I live and breathe music so shameless plug on the last pics)

✦ Ex private housekeeper of 7/8 years (so you know I can CLEAN clean when I want to)

Before moving to Bushey, I was between London and Falmouth, Cornwall for 6 years while I got my BA, MA and worked and the majority of my closest friends are based in London or Birmingham.

I'm a selective hermit (mainly to get my work done when the hyper focus hits or to recharge my social battery) but I very much enjoy being social at home. I love film, cooking (curry and ramen extraordinaire), travelling, good music and trying and failing miserably at new hobbies (that I may or may not ever return to). Love cooking for others and cozy gaming nights in unless I am in london seeing other friends. Happy to respect housemates space but also always down to get a pint at the pub.
