I?m after somewhere quiet with a cat

I need somewhere:
- reasonably quiet,
- not shared with too many people, and
- with a decent commute.

My ideal property:
- already has a cat or
- may let me have a cat, and / or
- accepts a couple.
Without these I still consider rooms based on other factors, like price, commute, etc.

I am:
- quiet and nerdy, and
- untidy (only in my room) but clean.
For example: my desk has papers on it, but no forgotten mugs of coffee!

From my previous job in IT, I can sometimes help you with tech things.

I try to be considerate and respectful, both of other people and their property. So while I like to cook and bake, I don't like leaving a mess afterwards.

Mainly I?m looking for somewhere to relax while I study my Masters and slowly save up a house deposit.

Sorry about the 'no smokers' part: I'm asthmatic. (As a hopeful pet-haver eventually, I know how frustrating it is to read 'no this, no that, no anything' everywhere.)
