Looking for a quiet place

I am looking for a peaceful, quiet, clean place to live. I love pets, especially cats, gardening, books, walking, museums/galleries, music and travelling...
I am organised, responsible and mindful of people's need for privacy.
I have good references, as I have been living with my current housemate (live-in landlord) for almost 10 years.
I have just qualified as a social worker and I am looking to start my new career in beautiful Northeast.

To add:
My mother will come to visit me over the Summer and I would like, ideally, a room for her in the same house from 27/06 to 14/09. She is 76 years old, a lovely lady, organised and easy going.
I hope we can find a place where we can stay together for that period. But if that's not possible, I can try other alternatives. But do get in touch anyway!
