Massive double room with a private patio or garden

Hey, I'm looking for a place to call home. An extra large double room that has enough space for my own furniture, which includes
- my big office desk
- my office chair
- 4 large sets of wooden shelves

I'm an IT consultant and work from home a lot. So I need plenty of space. The area would preferably be a quiet, residential area (rather than somewhere close to bars and loud nightlife).

I'm looking for a room with a private garden or patio space because I like to sit outside and work whenever the weather is good.

Usually if I find a place I like, I stay for a long time. As long as it's not too noisy, has responsible, mature flatmates, everyone does their fair share to keep the place clean (and I will certainly do my part to keep it clean), then I'll be happy to stay.

I'm 39, but I feel like the only thing that is old about me is I like to get 8 hours sleep a night lol!

Properties located close to the Thames, a canal or a large park would be a bonus as these are the places I like to cycle.

Speaking of cycling, I own a bicycle and need somewhere secure to store my bike. A little bit of space in a garage or space under the stairs, something like that would be ideal.

I love travelling. I try to get away at least once a year. A great day on holiday for me is hiking on a mountain on some Greek island, snorkeling in the sea and then back to the town at night for a traditional Greek dinner. Canary Islands also up there as one of my other favourite places to visit and explore.

I have a budget of about £1000 a month (all bills included in that) .
