Moving back to London!

Hi, I’m Jen! I’m looking for a long term let of a double room in a flatshare, ideally with fellow professionals ages 25-40 in East London, for max. £1200/month (bills inc.)

ABOUT ME:
I’m 34, queer, work in communications for an NGO and do some freelance comms/admin on the side. I’m moving back to London after some time away!

In terms of interests, I like going to the theatre, eating out, browsing book shops, exploring the city. I also love to cook! Big TV fan and I love a sci fi or fantasy novel. I’m definitely “indoorsy” rather than outdoorsy! I’m not a party person but I do like a glass of wine on occasion.

I’m a non-smoker, and also an omnivore.

MY WORKING PATTERN:
My job is 100% remote, although my company has an office in Bethnal Green that I will visit on occasion. My job is pretty chill and super light on meetings so flatmates won't need to tiptoe around me if you're home at the same time! I'm also happy to contribute extra £ towards heating in the winter etc.

ROOM / FLAT REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 day/week let
- Location: Slight preference for North East London (think Hackney, Dalston, Hoxton), but open to other locations
- Slight preference for unfurnished (but not a deal breaker)
- Not a teeny tiny box room — I need space for a desk and office chair at minimum
- Would loooove to have an outside space (a garden or a terrace), but not mandatory

HOUSEMATE PREFERENCES:
- Professionals, preferably over 25
- Clean, tidy and considerate
- Friendly, respectful communication
- Non smokers
- Bonus points if you are LGBTQ+ or an ally
- Even more bonus points if you have a cat!

BUDGET:
My budget would be max. £1000 without bills or £1200 with bills included.
