Looking for a spacious room in a fun shared house

Hello hello! Potential new housemates, where art thou?

I’m Afia, a full-time lawyer by day (and occasionally night…), red wine enthusiast, and a squash lover in between.

Sadly, our wonderful landlord has decided to sell our current flat (boo!), so I’m now on the lookout for a new place to call home in Edinburgh. I’ve been living with an amazing bunch of housemates and it’s been such a warm, fun and supportive space, the kind of place where you come home and instantly feel at ease. I’d love to find something similar: a proper home, not just a room.

Ideally, I’m looking for a bright and spacious room in Stockbridge or Bruntsfield somewhere with big windows, chilled vibes, and enough room to roll out my yoga mat (and maybe attempt the odd headstand).

I’d love to live with other young professionals or postgrad/PhD students who appreciate the joy of impromptu wine nights, shared dinners, occasional kitchen karaoke (Pitbull makes regular appearances), and good old-fashioned banter. That said, I totally respect people’s space and enjoy some downtime myself.

You’ll often find me cooking up a feast (feeding people is basically my love language), getting lost in an art project, or chasing the last of the evening sun with a glass of wine in hand. I’m clean, considerate, and always up for bringing a little extra warmth and good energy into a shared space.
