Hello! I’m making the move to Bristol from Cornwall (although from London originally) long term and looking to buddy up with one or two lovely like-minded folks ☺️ I have furniture to kit out a house (from sofa and saucepans to pegs and outdoor potted plants!) so am hoping to find others who are open to renting a house together that we can make our home! 3 of us feels like a nice number, but open to just 2 or up to 4.

A little about me:

I’m 34 and value having a place that feels like home to us all, with openness to communicate and adapt, take care of our home and sometimes share dinners, film nights, board games, puzzles etc. I am social and open-minded, love a good deep dive chat but also value down time and respecting my housemates’ needs too.

Hobbies!
I’m a curious person and love all sorts.. reading and book clubs, singing in a choir, cinema/film, theatre, music, dance, walks, surfing, climbing, camping… and then winding down from it all! ☺️

Work/Study
I used to be a teacher and now teach for Cornwall council with kids online who struggle to attend school - I WFH 3 days a week (tues-thurs). The rest of the time I will be studying (likely in cafes and libraries) and also head to London one weekend/week per month for my masters in psychotherapy.

Logisticals/important bits!
- Ideally move in the last week of October/first week of November but may have some flexibility (happy to pay/sign earlier, but may struggle if later)
- I used to be veggie and mostly still cook vegetarian but occasionally cook fish/meat
- Super relaxed about each of us having friends/lovers/partners/family to stay whenever but not interested in a party house
- Queer friendly people only please
- V open to living with a cat if you have one!
- I’m looking for a large-ish double room to accommodate my desk/wfh
- I have furniture/things for all shared rooms but not spare bedroom furniture for what would be your bedroom(s) however I have a spare double futon, bookshelves etc to tide you over till you source your own, if needed! Also super happy if you also have furniture for the shared rooms to decide together what we prefer/works etc.
