Hey there!

I am Careen, a German young professional who has recently moved to London after having finished my Master's in the Netherlands. From mid-November onwards, I will start working in a Public Affairs firm near London Bridge.

I would love to partner up with a female student or young professional who is up to searching for a home - not just a room :)

I have been very spoilt with my past flat share experience, as I lived together with my two best friends. Together, we have made the house a home and gave it our very own, personal touch. While we respected each other's privacy, we loved to cook, eat and drink (;-)) together, spent warm summer nights on the balcony and drive to IKEA to buy "just some candles".

To me, my home is my castle and I am looking for more than just a room to rent. As I plan to stay in London long term, my ideal flat would be a cozy and tidy place where I can relax and feel truly at home.
It is important to me that we have a similar understanding of how a flat should be.

I'd describe me as a very open-minded, sociable person. I love to be surrounded by others and meeting new people. You will rarely see my door closed and I will probably hang around in the kitchen a lot, either cooking coffee or pouring me (and you!) some wine. I am very tolerant and think that we will get along very well if you are an open-minded, communicative and honest person.

In my free time, I love exploring the hidden gems of London, roam around charity shops or enjoy a (daytime) wine in Soho. I like occasional nights out but prefer a good dinner and drink over a rave night.
