Professional man seeks a double room.

I’m looking for a double room for sole occupancy from 1st June 2026, with a budget of up to £850 pcm. Ideally, I’d prefer to share with males aged 35–65.

I work in Financial Services and am currently in between roles following redundancy. I’m actively progressing my job search and expect to be back in work soon. In the meantime, I’m on Universal Credit and follow a structured job search routine agreed with the DWP. I usually leave the house around 8am for the gym, then base myself in a café or library, so I’m out most of the day.

I’ve been a lodger in my current home for the past 2 years and have always paid my rent on time without any issues.

I’m tidy, organised, and respectful, and I value a calm and considerate household. I enjoy socialising occasionally but I’m equally happy keeping to myself. During the week, I do need a quiet space to rest.

I’ll be working from home a couple of days per week, so space for a desk in the room would be ideal (I have my own desk and chair).

I also spend some weekends away, so I’m not always around.
