Looking for a friendly, relaxed buddy-up/room

Hi, I’m an English physiotherapist and sports massage therapist looking to move to Edinburgh late June.

I’m friendly, sociable and love having a laugh, but I also really value having a calm, peaceful home to unwind and recharge my introverted side. I’d love to buddy up (or house share) with someone who is looking to create a relaxed, welcoming space, either by joining an existing home or finding somewhere together. It would also be lovely to have a housemate who’s up for the occasional meal or film together.

Outside of work, I enjoy dancing and classes, vinyl and music of all genres, cooking, yoga, reading, sewing/dress-making, writing and films. I grew up on a farm, so I also love being outdoors hiking and camping, and I’m really looking forward to exploring more of Scotland’s wilder places.

I’m ideally looking for somewhere with a bit of character and, if possible, some greenery in view. Looking for something around £900 - £1000 with bills included. An en-suite or own bathroom would be a bonus. I currently live in my own flat, so I also have furniture available if we were to find a place together and want to create a well-set-up, homely space from the start. Alternatively, I’m also happy to put things into storage if there is a suitable place already ready-made.
