A room... anywhere creative!

Howdy future housemates!

I work fully remote and I’m looking to move somewhere new - I have only one objective - to live with like-minded creatives / musicians. I work full-time in a very uncreative job, so I’d love to immerse myself back into this realm (currently living alone). Need someone to sing along with across the kitchen.

I’m pretty open to moving wherever, I do have a penchant for seaside towns as I love sea swimming – but a vibrant arts and/or music scene is also a win!

I’m originally from Cumbria, but I’ve mainly lived in the Devon and the New Forest in the UK – so I’m intrigued by the South-East, and also some wild-cards – Cardiff and Glasgow/Edinburgh. London will tick a lot of boxes but I fear I may be priced out…

I am a hardworking, clean and environmentally conscious individual who is passionate about making this world better for everyone. I love: cooking, hosting dinners, learning languages, being arty, painting, photography, diving, cycling, climbing, hiking, kayaking, nature, naming trees and plants, DIY, gardening, growing my own food, singing in choirs, singing in bands/open mic nights, watching live music and most importantly going to the pub. I just spent two years living in Norway where not one single soul wanted to go for a Friday beer. I am in Friday beer deficit. Please come for a beer.

My professional roles have spanned researcher, divemaster, waitress, barista, life model - I'm very easy going and love meeting new people. Outside of the UK, I have lived in Mexico, Brazil, Norway and Sweden – so I truly have lived with a range of people! Shoutout to the Scandinavian cleaning rotas, I <3 u.

Despite being quite a busy and sociable person, I also appreciate some peace and quiet, especially at night as I'm an early riser! I'm looking to share an appropriately quiet, clean and tidy house with some friendly and like-minded professionals.

The main purpose of this move for me is to make some new friends and discover some new places in the UK. Length of stay isn’t important – I’m here to explore!

It could work nicely to take someone’s room whilst they go off on their own adventures (travel/work etc)- so if your remaining housemates fit the vibe of what I’m looking for, please do get in touch!
