Homely Flat-share with Responsible Flatmates

I'm Miriam, a 29 year old language teacher / PhD student.

My idea of a perfect flatmate is someone who sees the flat as more than just a roof over their head, who treats it as lovingly as they would their own home, and who contributes positively to the atmosphere there. The age, gender, nationality and sexual orientation of flatmates are not relevant. More important is that they are responsible, trustworthy and respectful, and treat the flat and each other well.

I am very independent and will be out of the flat a lot for university and sports. However, at home I will make an effort to be part of the flat and to create a comfortable and friendly living space - I am always happy to sit down for a tea or wine and have a chat, share food and relax with my flatmates, or make plans for hiking/running trips to Dartmoor, cultural events and gigs.

I'm also a live out landlady (previously live in) and appreciate the importance of finding suitable tenants. I'm more than happy to answer any questions by WhatsApp or a Skype call.
