Seeking Reduced rental/helpful lodger arrangement

Hello,
I’m a mature, friendly Furniture Design & Make student at Rycotewood, looking for a room in a calm, welcoming home under a share-and-care / helpful lodger arrangement with reduced rent.
For the past two academic years, I’ve been living in my converted van while studying part-time, which has suited me well. However, I’m now moving into full-time study for my final year and would really like to be properly settled, comfortable, and fully focused on my course.
I’m hoping to find a situation that feels more like living with a considerate, distant relative than a standard house share. I’m very independent, respectful of space and routines, and happy to contribute my time in practical and supportive ways.
I’d be glad to help with:
• Light cleaning and general household upkeep
• Gardening or outdoor jobs
• Cooking the occasional meal
• House sitting and pet sitting (something I already do regularly)
• Being a reassuring, trustworthy presence in the home
I’m usually out of the house for 6+ hours on weekdays, so there’s plenty of privacy and space for the homeowner. Evenings are generally quiet and relaxed.
This would suit someone who lives alone, travels occasionally, or would appreciate a bit of company and help around the house in exchange for reduced rent.
