Lil designer seeks room in Big City (again)

I'm a super friendly, tidy and sociable non-binary 31-year-old designer, looking for a room to rent in a queer-friendly flat in East London! I’m leaving my current flat in Bethnal Green after two years, having moved from Scotland to London in 2024 with my partner.

I currently work for a film company, and I also design for an independent bookshop in Edinburgh (but my full-time occupation is being a delight). I work hybrid, and like to be quite fluid about where I work from when not in the office.

I adore cooking, reading, occasionally sharing meals, and really enjoy casual flat hangs and watching telly or playing board games. I’m not currently much of a night-out-er, more of a ‘gossip on the sofa with a wine and lots of olives’-er. I love hosting too, and finding excuses to cook for people (my partner is half-Spanish and we often cook Spanish feasts).

Day to day, I really value my own time and space, and I am very respectful of other people's. Keeping a clean and tidy flat is important to me, and I really benefit from friendly communication and soft routines. I try hard to make my home feel like home.
I’ve lived with aaallll sorts of people and am really easy to get on with, but I click most with flatmates who are relaxed, communally-minded, and open, who share my values, and prioritise making the home a comfortable haven! ✨
