Looking for a peaceful, friendly house

I am 35 and an Ecologist. I'm looking to move in Norwich or further afield in Norfolk (a rural location would be nice too). I'm ready to move now but not in a rush...
I am looking for somewhere friendly, respectful, homely. I'm a relaxed person and care about maintaining a tidy and peaceful living space. I am careful with water and energy use. Vegan but happy to live with non-veggies, and enjoy sharing meals.
