looking for a new flat in Edinburgh area.

I’m Geoffrey 35 years old. I am an Edinburgh local so I know the city well. I work at Edinburgh Castle on a full time salary position, between the hours of 9:10 to 18:10, 4 days on 2 days off. My interests are watching rugby union, watching film/TV, going to the gym, playing dnd, eating out and gaming on my iPad but would like to get a PlayStation 5.

I’m looking for a flat above ground level, either near to the city centre or a bus link to Victoria street would be ideal for work as I don’t drive. I don’t mind single bed but double would be preferred. Wardrobe, desk and chair would be nice. Doesn’t have to be too big of a bedroom. Good internet and wash machine are a must have. Maximum rent £800 (not including bills) is about my limit.

I’d hoped to find a balance with a new flatmate between respecting our own spaces yet not being total strangers with each other. I’d try to keep shared spaces (bathroom, kitchen etc) reasonable clean, I don’t like to see a sink full of dirty dishes. I’m willing to join any chores rota in place. Don’t want a party flat, though if there was a special occasions or a special someone you wanted to come over please warn me.

What I’d hope from you would be if there was problem you’d contact me, talk, or message. I’d hate for a problem not to be fixed. We all abide by the same rules. Preferably no smoking or limited to an area. Pets are fine but wouldn’t be allowed in my room. No students sorry.
