Room wanted in friendly LGBTQ+ home

Hi all! ☀️

I’m looking for a room to rent in a warm and friendly home around the beginning of March (need to be out of my current place by the 10th). A place that feels like home is key: I’m relocating after 5 years in Cardiff, which feels like a big change.

Areas of preference are all East (Stoke Newington, Dalston, Hackney & surroundings) but open to anywhere else that is conveniently linked. Very keen on Brixton too!

Budget - £800-1000 all in. Preferably no more than 2 other housemates, but it’s not a deal breaker with the right people. Given that I’m currently job-seeking, I’m open to paying rent in advance.

About me: 25 years old — I’m originally from Romania and have moved to Wales for my studies; I did Journalism and Sociology, tried hard to get into music PR/charity comms, but the market here hasn’t been very giving so I’m now making the big, necessary change.

I’m gay, friendly, super tidy and quiet but sociable too at the weekend. I’m hugely into music, which I review sometimes, and spend my free time between coffee shops, parks and record stores ☕️🌿☀️💿

I love cosy nights in with food and films, but equally keen on a queer night out. Also keen on cinema, theatre, gigs, and finding out some green spots for my Sunday strolls. I can be quite serious and enjoy discussing things that matter i. e. mental health or navigating whatever’s dawning on us at a time, but I’m equally goofy, lighthearted, and pleasant to be around.

I am ideally looking for something long term, especially if we do match and enjoy each other’s presence. I’m very grounded and mindful of personal space however, and understanding of house-sharing circumstances.
