A quiet room near StirUni or Train station

I am Hermione and I am currently looking for a room (furnished) near University of Stirling or close to Stirling train station.

If it is fairly close to the train station, I can also consider Larbert and Falkirk.

I am okay to share public space, kitchen and bathroom with one or at most two flatmates. I hope there is a schedule to take turns to clean and tidy up common space.

My plan is to move in mid April 2024, and if everything goes on well, I plan to stay at least 6 months.

I am currently a PhD student in University of Stirling, and I will start my postdoc soon (confirmed with the university; going through admin process now).

I am a quiet person with regular routine (sleep early around 11pm and get up early around 7am), but I can socialise with people who share common interests.

When it’s not rainy, I usually spend weekends outdoor hiking or taking photos, if possible, travelling around. When it’s rainy, I will bake and cook (will clean up the mess), watch a film or documentary with a drink, just chilled.

I am a flexitarian so I mainly eat vegetables. I am a feminist for gender equality so I cannot bear with any sexist. I am originally from China so I am aware of the racism, so I cannot live with racists.

I am happy that flat mates who have and enjoy social life, but please don’t bring someone back without notice. It would be good if you are a fellow feminist and vegetarian or flexitarian who has a similar lifestyle, trying to be nice to the environment and people.
